The 1988 campy classic Beetlejuice is a PG rated, spooktacular film perfect for celebrating the holiday season. Camp is closely linked to queer culture and embodies values like; Lively, Audacious, Dynamic, Impertinent, Delightful, Apolitical, Unserious. The Almaguin Pride network wanted to celebrate “Gay Christmas,”- as Halloween is often called in the LGBTQ+ community- with an offering that can appeal to all ages.
